Flirting with
greatness can be a dangerous thing.
We often hear about grand gestures or grandiose commitments.The result is
either a fool's delight or empty air.Why?
Because these flirts have neither the commitment of the fanatic nor the
cynicism of the pessimist.Solidity of the realist evades them.The result is a
imbecility wedded to idiocy.
Halfway houses are not meant to be lived in.They are best left to builders.
